江西是全国产稻的主要省之一,有水田三千多万亩,平均亩产800斤,谷草比以1:1计算,全省每年可产稻草240亿斤以上,因此,稻草是江西省的一项重要的农业资源.许多地区稻草除用作燃料和饲料外,还大量地用来垫畜栏或者直接还田.将早稻草直接还田做晚稻基肥,具有就地取材,扩大肥源和节约劳力的优点,对解决晚稻有机肥源不足,促进全年平衡增产有着很重要的意义.随着水稻产量的提高和化肥用量的增多,稻草还田将会日益显得更加重要.近几年来,我们在总结群众经验的基础上.开展了稻草还田的试验研究.试验在红土母质发育的几种水稻土上进行,以田间(定位)试验为主.结合模拟试验,盆栽试验和室内培养试验,同时对耕层土壤和水稻植株进行了有关测定.现将试验结果整理如下.
