大宝山区位于绵延数百公里的龙门山山脉的中南段,属彭县、灌县管辖范围。山势巍峨、地形险要、沟深坡陡、高差悬殊,属深切割的中——高山区。 大宝山区的大地构造位置是处于后龙门山褶皱带的中南段,其西北以茂汶大断裂为界与平武——茂汶加里东地槽活动带相接,东南与前龙门山过渡带的彭灌断裂带毗邻,其间又为北川——映秀深断裂所分隔(图1)。
Dabaoshan area stretches for hundreds of kilometers of the Longmen Mountains in the south-central section, belong to Peng County, Guan County jurisdiction. Towering mountains, terrain danger, ditch deep steep, high disparities, is a deep cut in - high mountain. The geotectonic position of Dabaoshan area is located in the middle-south segment of the Houmen Mount Fold Belt. Its northwestern boundary connects with the Pingwu-Mauwant Gallin East Trough active zone and the transition zone between the southeast and Qian Longmen Mountains Adjacent to the Peng-Guan fault zone and separated by the Beichuan-Yingxiu Deep Fault (Figure 1).
