韩国政府今天向近期试图对韩国蓝鳍金枪鱼进行捕捞量限制的日本表示抗议。日本水产厅先前对韩国政府提出不增加太平洋范围内蓝鳍金枪鱼捕捞量的要求,同时呼吁日本的流通、贩卖业者减少进口和销售韩国产金枪鱼。对于日本水产厅的官方行为,韩国政府代表在接受采访时表示,韩国农林水产食品部在8月2日召见了驻韩日本大使馆的相关人员,已阐明难以接受日本方面对于捕捞量限制要求的立场。并强调韩国的鲭鱼围网捕捞作业并非针对金枪鱼,渔获物中混有金枪鱼只属于偶然现象,不属于有意为之,因此无法满足日方限制捕捞量的要求。
The South Korean government today protested Japan’s recent attempt to limit the catch of South Korean bluefin tuna. Japan’s Fisheries Agency had earlier raised the demand of the South Korean government not to increase the catch of bluefin tuna in the Pacific Ocean. At the same time, Japan’s Fisheries Agency called on circulation and sellers in Japan to reduce the import and sale of Korean-origin tuna. Regarding the official act of the Japanese Fisheries Agency, the South Korean government representative said in an interview that the Korean Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries and Food held a meeting with the Japanese Embassy in South Korea on August 2 and clarified that it is hard to accept Japan’s requirement on the catch limit position. And emphasized that the Korean mackerel purseon seizure operation is not aimed at tuna. The inclusion of tuna in the catch is only accidental and does not belong to the intention and therefore can not meet the requirement of Japan to limit the catch.
