Chen Yi is an erudite, civil and military founding fathers. He has written a large number of poems. This article describes Chen Yi’s monumental Psalms written in June 1954 when he was the vice chairman of the People’s Revolutionary Military Commission of the Central People’s Government and inspected the army.
