文献详细阐述了1974年12月22日辽宁葠窝(ML=)0.52级地震的性质及其与海城7.3级地震的关系,认为葠窝地震具有天然构造地震完全相同的地震活动特点,而不具备典型水库诱发地震的序列特征.但葠窝地震毕竟发生在水库区,完全排除水库蓄水的影响几乎是不可能的.本文分析了这种影响,认为发生5.2级地震时水库畜水最大只能使震源处岩石的剪切强度减小1.7×10~5帕.水库蓄水可能对一些余震的发生起了一定作用.
