Ultrasound imaging is a recent innovation that offers a unique opportunity to understand early pregnancy. This study sought to clarify the relationship between amniotic sac placement and spontaneous abortion and placenta previa. A four-year retrospective study of patients with intermittent or vaginal bleeding in early pregnancy was performed and all patients were scanned using a Unirad Model # 150 B Scanner. A total of 126 scans were performed on 105 patients and 39 consecutive scans were performed in 18 patients with persistent vaginal bleeding or possible abortion. 105 cases of early pregnancy without bleeding in the abortion before giving routine scanning is called no concurrent
