黄陂县五岭公社在大搞平整土地的过程中,为了避免平掉草子绿肥,妨碍当年生产,公社党委发动群众想办法,提出了保熟土、保草子、保质量的“三保”施工方法。所谓保草子,就是将挖、填方的草子连熟土切成块状(草子土块),揭开运离原处,待该地平整好后再运回铺到原来的地方,并采取有效措施,促使草子正常生长,夺取高产。五岭公社1973年冬平整土地3,000亩,还原草子2,150亩,一般都生长较好。1974
