Shanghai Datong Institute of Applied Chemistry is a joint-stock enterprise that integrates science, industry and trade, and has the right to import and export itself. It has been recognized as a high-tech enterprise in Shanghai for five consecutive years since 1994. In 1999, it has obtained the ISO9002 quality system certification issued by China and the Netherlands RVA. The company’s technical investment and high-tech products account for more than 80%. The research and development expenditures for high-tech products account for about 6% of the total income.
