深县木村乡现有人口23200多人,耕地34795亩,是个人多地少、水肥条件较好、机械化水平较高的乡。随着水肥条件的改善和科学种田水平的不断提高,近十几年来,粮食产量有较大幅度的增长。其中小麦单产由七十年代初的100多公斤,1981——1984年增到260—338公斤,1985年16500亩小麦平均亩产达到404.5公斤,1986年16000亩小麦平均亩产达到405公斤,连续二年亩产突破400公斤。总结其经验,主要有以下几点:
