郁达夫在30年代写过一篇随笔《里西湖的一角落》,知道的人很少。因为发表时正是全面抗战爆发前夕,人们已面临时代风云的大动荡了;加以刊载此文的是杭州《越风》杂志增刊《西湖》,它的印数不大,知名度不高,发行范围也仅限于江南地区。也正为此,《里西湖的一角落》一度成为若干郁达夫文集失收的佚文。 笔者藏有这本已成为罕见物的《越风增刊》第一集《西湖》,近日翻阅一过,发现《越风》编者黄萍荪虽颇遭鲁迅先生讥评,但他的拉稿功夫却不差。《西湖》所刊之文即颇多名人佳作,除郁达夫的那一篇外,如弘一法师(李叔同)《我在西湖出家的经过》、胡适《烟霞洞小住》、许宝驹《西湖梅品》、姜丹书《雷峰塔始末记》、张其昀《东坡先生在杭事迹》诸文,均是与西湖有关的耐读之作。
