早期的制导仿真技术,只不过是飞行控制仿真应用范围的扩大。由于当时的制导技术,都是采用惯性制导,显然制导与控制这两个回路的动态特性可以相互去耦。因此,绝大多数飞行控制系统都是在模拟计算机上进行仿真的。由于在那样的系统中的非线性效应是众所周知的,所以模拟计算机就变成了混合数字仿真系统。这种惯导系统要在数字计算机上仿真,是因为仿真的参数量少,而这少量的参数对于预测系统性能来说,又显得很重要。内回路通常是用模拟计算机仿真的,或者是用一般的伺服分析技术使设计得到简化。
