本刊1957年10月号,曾介绍陈沁铭、肖罗梦两同志的橡皮球玻璃筒吸蚊器,这引起了我对这方面的兴趣。我们明做了一个,发现有下面几个缺点:(1)除在蚊帐内能吸到少数蚊外,在床脚、屋角、牛栏内效果更差;(2)橡皮球、玻璃筒、漏斗、橡皮塞子要去买,不容易找到,不甚适合广大群众的需要;(3)较浪费时间和消耗精力。作者在蚊虫捕捉工作中,制用一种捕蚊暗箱,每天捕到的蚊子不计其数,简而易行,现介绍如下,以供同志们商讨。一原理蚊子的习性,喜欢在暗处藏躲。早上一打开门窗,会有些蚊子向房间里来,藏在床脚下,且多半藏在床底的破本箱或破空罐内,到夜里就飞出来;
