(I) Preface We cooperated with the Health Department of Putuo District People’s Government in Shanghai in August 1951 to conduct a more detailed investigation of the environmental health and residents’ health status in the pharmacy and Wangjiazha (the summary report was published in East China Health Special Issue No. 001).
