CSA Group, a provider of standards development and test certification services, recently announced the establishment of an advanced photovoltaic module testing and certification laboratory in Kunshan, Jiangsu Province. This is also CSA Group’s first laboratory in the country for the photovoltaic industry. Located in Kunshan National Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone, the new lab will speed up the provision of localized product testing and certification services for domestic PV companies, helping them develop the international market. The new lab, covering an area of 1,000 square meters, will test and certify photovoltaic modules, grid-connected inverters and their accessories based primarily on North American and IEC standards.
