In recent years, the role of platelets in coronary heart disease has aroused people\'s attention. It has recently been shown clearly that platelets are associated with arteriovenous occlusion, the proliferation of vascular smooth muscle cells and their possible involvement in the development of atherosclerosis, leading to the discovery of inhibitors of platelet function. This article reviews the literature to clarify how platelet function inhibitors alter platelet function and thus affect coronary heart disease.
