唐山市委市政府为加强城市形象工程建设,成立了形象工程建设推进委员会,市委书记任委员会主任,目前正抓紧部署亮化美化工程。这项工程分两步走:今年5月1日前落实美化工程,包括绿化工程、沿街建筑重新外装修、改造拆除有碍观瞻的建筑物。今年春节之前要完成亮化工程,作为1997年形象建设工程第一项重点工作。
In order to strengthen the construction of the city’s image project, the Tangshan Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government established the Image Engineering Construction Promotion Committee. The Municipal Party Committee Secretary is the director of the Committee and is currently stepping up efforts to deploy the lighting and beautification projects. The project is divided into two steps: The landscaping project will be implemented before May 1st this year, including the greening project, renovating the exterior buildings along the street, and demolishing unsightly buildings. The lighting project will be completed before the Spring Festival this year as the first key project of the image construction project in 1997.
