大连市甘井子区总工会作为城区工会,一直坚持“服务大局、服务职工、服务社会”的工作理念,法律援助、诉求代理、和谐劳动关系及行业工会建设等多项工作走在全国省市前列。2010年,在大连市委工会工作会议上,时任区委书记袁克力作了题为《完善工作机制,创新领导方式,切实加强和改进党对工会工作领导》的典型发言。2012年,在中共大连市委工青妇工作会议上,区委书记郝方林作了题为《加强机制建设,完善工作体系,为工青妇参与加强和创新社会
