Australian film cameraman Newsweek correspondent Rafael Faffro, concerned and sympathetic to the Afghan people’s cause of fighting against the Soviet invasion, came to Afghanistan to live and fight with Mughaidin fighters. Through the weapons in his hand, an eight-millimeter camera, he introduced the world to the livelihood of the Arab Liberation fighters against the Soviet invasion. In December 1983, he unfortunately sacrificed on the battlefield in Afghanistan. Rachel’s wife, Jill, was distraught and she came to Afghanistan with her three children and witnessed the real situation in Afghanistan. She is stronger than before and determined to complete the unfinished business of her husband and make the world aware of the realities in Afghanistan.
