上海浦东新区第二中心小学创建于清光绪年间,著名教育家黄炎培曾是首任校董,学校历经百年沧桑,育得桃李芬芳。今天,她风光依旧,是浦东地区数得上的名校。在教育改革不断深入的今天,学校并未满足已有成绩,而是从未来人才发展需要的高度出发,认真审视当前的学校教育,洞察其弊,勇于改革,高瞻远瞩地提出了新的教育改革思路:在今后若干年内,学校将着力打破现有教育、教学上的陈规陋习,换之以新的教育观念,新的教育手段,为学生在今后以良好的素质溶入社会、推动社会的进步与发展
