Interview time: May 11, 2015 Venue: ADA Research Center, Beijing University of Architecture Wang Yun graduated from the Beijing Institute of Construction Engineering in 1985 with a bachelor’s degree in architecture. In 1995, he graduated from the University of Tokyo, Japan with a master’s degree in engineering. In 1999, Ph.D. in Engineering from the University of Tokyo, Japan. In 2002, he established a Cube Space Workshop. In 2013, he founded the Architectural Design and Art Research Center (ADA) of Beijing University of Architecture as the director. The main works are the United States beautiful office building entrance hall, a very small city of 60 square meters, Shijingshan Finance Bureau Training Center, Lu Shishanzhuang, Baiziwan Middle School, Baiziwan Kindergarten, Hangzhou Xixi Wetland Art Village H block clubs. He won the second prize of New Industrial Design Competition 20th in Japan for “New Construction” in 1993 and the first prize in the S × L Architectural Design Competition for the fourth time in Japan’s “New Construction” in 1994.
