湟源排灯是流传于青海省湟源县(丹噶尔古城)的一种汉族民间节日灯彩艺术,至今已有200多年历史。湟源排灯起源于清代嘉庆、道光年间,当时内地客商云集“海藏咽喉”湟源县城,城内商铺为招揽顾客而纷纷制作名号招牌。后来,这种商铺名号招牌制作得越来越精美,逐渐融入了汉、藏、蒙、回及河湟谷地文化元素,发展成为有底座、图案,形式多样的灯彩艺术。
