金针菜又名黄花菜(学名:萱草),它是一种质量较好的蔬菜。栽培的目的,主要是采食其将要开放的花朵,因含营养超过一般蔬菜,肉肥美,色鲜艳,鲜菜、干菜均可食用,干菜耐久藏可随时取用,故为广大群众所欢迎。金针菜栽培管理容易,化劳动力少,产量高(适龄采菜期每亩单产干菜200斤左右),经济收益大。
