The earliest show in China should be said to be a group of young students fledgling Fang Gang. At the end of the nineteenth century, a group of Shanghai students embarked on the earliest practice of drama in China with the new exploration of the current status of education, literature and art in China. By the early twentieth century, some young drama-loving students and some young teachers in education wanted to get the most out of the stage. They often made their appearances on anniversary days, festivals and entertainment parties. In the winter of 1905, Wang Youyou, a student of Zhongli Road Middle School outside Shanghai’s Daming South Road, took the opportunity to study the works of Ren Tianshu (the second son of Ren Boyian in the late Qing Dynasty and the later director of “Drama”) and Wang Junliang Of the female theatrical company), as well as Zhongmei, Zhong Shan brothers and other more than 10 people organized to set up China’s first ever amateur drama groups - literary friends.
