儿童的想象是丰富的。看那火红的国旗,五颗晶亮的星星,多象祖国母亲的眼睛!这眼睛温暖可亲,充满殷切的期望。《国旗上的星星》选取了这一富有儿童情趣的题材,通过形象的比喻,抒发了少年儿童对祖国的热爱和“我们要做好少年,报答母亲养育恩”的决心。歌曲为方整的两段体结构,A段节奏平稳,曲调庄重,描述了眼望国旗时崇敬的心情。B段拉开节奏,音区升高,表达了一代新少年富有理想,立志接班的感情。演唱这首歌应注意内在感情的抒发,A段和B段在处理上要有对比。
