古巴位于加勒比海的西北部,东距海地77公里,南离牙买加140公里,北距美国佛罗里达半岛180公里,西距墨西哥210公里,素有通往加勒比和中南美的“钥匙”之称,是西印度群岛中最大的岛国。古巴镍矿资源丰富,储量约2000万吨,占世界总储量的37.7％。森林覆盖面积占全国面积的18％,出产名贵的红木、黑木、檀木和古巴松。
Cuba is located in the northwestern Caribbean Sea, 77 kilometers east of Haiti, 140 kilometers south of Jamaica, 180 kilometers north of the United States Peninsula, 210 kilometers west of Mexico, known as the “key” to the Caribbean and Central and South America, is called The largest island nation in the West Indies.
