Anglo Belgian Corporation (ABC), Belgium, recently celebrated its centennial, launching a new engine to open up new markets. Although Ghent claims to own the well-known Rudolf Diesel engine and has more than 3,000 users worldwide, Ghent is still hard-pressed to find a place among the world’s top engine manufacturers. However, ABC’s new product, the DL36 Series, is widely used to broaden the company’s potential market and is now available to larger vessels than ever before, such as ships, ferries, coastal traders, bulk carriers, dredgers, large tugboats , Offshore vessels and shore-based power generation programs.
