OBJECTIVE: To compare the efficacy of amalgam, glass ionomer and light-cured composite resin in the treatment of deciduous teeth toothpaste. Methods: Fetal tooth decay was performed in 285 children. The teeth were randomly divided into three groups, the carious deciduous tissues of deciduous teeth were decapitated, and the appropriate cavities were prepared. The dental implants were treated with silver amalgam, glass ionomer and light curing composite resin The material is filled in the prepared deciduous dental cavity to restore the shape of the deciduous teeth, ensure the normal chewing function and retain the affected teeth. Then statistics of each tooth to complete the filling operation time, observed 1 to 2 weeks after filling the allergic reaction, and follow-up observation of 6 months to 2 years, the treatment effect. Results: The success rates of silver amalgam, glass ionomer and light curing composite resin were 93.42%, 94.52% and 94.58% respectively in 2 months and 82.56%, 86.28% and 85.22% in 2 years respectively. There was no significant difference between the three groups (P> 0.05). However, the operation of glass ion-filling was simpler and the treatment time was shorter than that of the light-cured composite resin, and there was less dentin hypersensitivity reaction 1 to 2 weeks after filling. Glass ion because of its good chemical bonding with the tooth tissue, tooth pulp tissue irritation and other advantages, suitable for the treatment of deciduous teeth. CONCLUSION: The glass has good color and luster, less irritation to the pulp, chemical bonding, good edge sealing and effective in preventing secondary caries. It also has strong adhesiveness and can cut teeth when the hole is prepared Thus reducing the discomfort and fear of the child when making the hole, and the operation is quick and easy. Therefore, the method has the advantages of being used for filling the deciduous teeth dental caries in children.
