In this paper, the quantity, distribution, seasonal variation of bait organisms in the fish of the eastern Guangdong and their relationship with high salt water bodies were analyzed. On the basis of this, the effects of them on migration of skipjack tuna were studied. The average annual feed biomass of eastern Guangdong lies between 86 and 100 mg / m ~ 3, with two peak periods in a year, which occur at the beginning and end of winter and early spring respectively. The highest biomass reached 200 mg / m ~ 3 or so; the longest duration may extend 2-3 months. The biomass distribution is mainly affected by the surface water of the South China Sea and the upper salt water with high salinity. The growth and development of high salt water bodies restrict the seasonal variation and distribution of biomass. Moray fish bait fish migration with food organisms dense area moving in the same direction. The direction and route for the fish to move on a monthly basis are generally moving northward from east longitude 115 ° 30 ’north latitude 20 ° 30’ in February, turning northeast in March, turning southwest in June and turning to August Southeast (see Figure 6).
