On June 25, 2014, Beijing Federation of Volunteers Services and People’s Insurance Company of China Beijing Branch jointly held the signing ceremony of “Personal Injury Insurance of Beijing Real-name Registered Volunteer Group” and formally launched the Beijing Volunteer Registration Insurance. This is the first volunteer insurance project in China that is guaranteed by financial support, social security for insurance companies and social organization, benefiting 2.35 million registered volunteers in Beijing. The project gave full play to the role of finance in guiding and leveraging social funds and explored and accumulated new experiences of government financial funds in guiding and integrating markets and social resources so as to guarantee the legitimate rights and interests of volunteers.
