今年7月1日,第七届全国人民代表大会常务委员会第二十六次会议通过了关于中国加入《保护文学和艺术作品伯尔尼公约》和《世界版权公约》的决定。之后,中国政府分别于7月15日和7月30日向世界知识产权组织和联合国教科文组织递交了加入书。根据规定,《伯尔尼公约》和《世界版权公约》将分别于10月15日和30日在中国正式生效。自此,中国作品将在公约其他成员国受到保护,公约其他成员的作品也将在中国受到保护。
On July 1 this year, the 26th meeting of the Standing Committee of the Seventh National People’s Congress passed China’s decision to accede to the Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works and the Universal Copyright Convention. Later, the Chinese government submitted the accession to WIPO and UNESCO on July 15 and July 30, respectively. According to the regulations, the Berne Convention and the World Copyright Convention will enter into force in China on October 15 and 30 respectively. Since then, Chinese works will be protected in the other member states of the Convention and the work of the other members of the Convention will also be protected in China.
