在一本画报中,版面即指图片和文字的结构,一般是指图文在版面中占有的位置和空间所形成的分割形式;同时,也包括线条、底色、装饰等在版面结构关系中的组织形式,同中国画中传统的提法为“布局”、“章法”一样。版面是画报专题重要的表现手段之一。对画报的版面设计,要区别于一般的技术处理,它不具有绘画形象,但又不是抽象绘画。因为在阅读画报时,版面的形式自始至终,总是与读者形影不离的。因此说,它是视觉传达的重要手段。它与内容同样具有一定的份量。
