当前教育改革的方向向着素质教育的目标前进着,高中英语教学也不例外。素质教育,根本上讲是以提高我国国民的基本素质,包括国民的基本思想道德修养、个性发展、身体素质等为主要目的,摒弃以往应试教育的教育教学方式,培养学生的自主学习能力和动手实践能力,切实提高学生的英语水平和英语学习能力,夯实学生未来发展的英语基础。
