市南中学是上海市中学行为规范示范学校(铜牌单位)、上海市学校德育工作先进集体、全国和上海市优秀家长学校、上海市国防教育先进集体、黄浦区爱国主义教育基地。多年来,学校发扬“求真务实”的精神,以学生的发展为本,挖掘、利用校史、校友资源,探索一条具有时代特征、学校特点,弘扬和培育民族精神的爱国主义教育新路。
Shinan Middle School is a demonstration school (copper unit) of Shanghai Middle School Behavior Standards, an advanced collective of Shanghai school moral education work, an excellent parent school of the whole nation and Shanghai, an advanced collective of Shanghai’s national defense education, and a patriotic education base in Huangpu District. Over the years, the school has promoted the spirit of “seeking truth and being pragmatic”, based on the development of students, and tapped and utilized the history of schools and alumni resources to explore a new path of patriotic education with characteristics of the times and characteristics of schools and the promotion and cultivation of the national spirit.
