在我步入地方史志研究领域之初,便开始了与董一博同志长达7年之久的交往。1981年春,吉林省图书馆“地方史志研究组”决定编辑《中国地方志论丛》一书,分《中国地方志总论》,《中国地方志分论》、《吉林省地方志考论》3册,作为吉林省图书馆学会丛书出版。我是该书的常务副主编。10月中旬,《中国地方志论丛》3本书刚刚打出清样,我立即携带清样前往北京,准备向“中国地方史志协会”推荐这3本书,并争取对该书出版发行工作给予支持。10月20日,我去北京市社会科学研究所《中国地方史志通讯》编辑部,向主持该杂志编辑工作的中国地方史志协会副秘书长周雷进行了详细汇报。汇报之后,周雷立即与中国地方史志协会副会长董一博进行了通话。通话中,周雷把我向董老作了介绍,并说明我这次来京的目的。董老在电话里明确表示,坚决支持这3本书的出版发行工作,同意以中国地方史志协会和吉林省图书馆学会名义联合出版,
As I entered the field of local history research, I started a seven-year-long engagement with Comrade Dong Yibo. In the spring of 1981, the Local History Research Group of Jilin Provincial Library decided to edit the book “China Local History Commentary”, which is divided into three volumes: “General Records of Local History of China”, “Annals of Chinese Local History” and “Local Records of Jilin Province” As the Jilin Provincial Library Association published. I am the executive editor of the book. In mid-October, three books of the “China Local History Symposium” just hit the sample, and I immediately took the sample to Beijing to prepare the three books for the “Association of Local History of China,” and I would like to give my support for the publication of the book. On October 20, I went to the editorial department of “China Local History Communication” of Beijing Institute of Social Sciences and briefed Zhou Lei, deputy secretary general of China Local History Association, who presided over the editorial work of the magazine. After reporting, Zhou Lei immediately with the Chinese Association of Local History Dong Yibo, vice president of the call. During the call, Zhou Lei introduced me to Dong and explained the purpose of my visit to Beijing. Dong made it clear on the phone that he firmly supports the publication and distribution of the three books and agreed to publish it on behalf of the Association of Local History Records of China and Jilin Library Association.
