每当中国革命和建设的重要时刻,我们党都强调马克思主义理论的学习。今天,反思理论思想战线上的斗争,总结现代化建设的经验,我们更加深刻体会到加强马克思主义理论学习的现实迫切性。 在新的历史时期,我们面临的中心任务,是建设有中国特色的社会主义现代化。这样一个宏伟而艰巨的任务,不仅在中国历史上,而且在整个世界历史上,都是最伟大的创造性工程之一。要实现这个历史任务,我们将遇到以往历史从未遇到的一些重大问题,比如,怎样建立有中国特色的充满生机和活力的社会主义经济体制?怎样进行政治体制改革和建立高度完善的社会主义民主?如何在建设社会主义物质文明的同时建设社会主义精神文明?
Whenever an important moment of China's revolution and construction is under way, our Party emphasizes the study of Marxist theory. Today, in retrospecting the struggle on the theoretical and ideological fronts and summing up the experience of modernization, we have become more profoundly aware of the urgency of strengthening the study of Marxist theory. In the new historical period, the central task we are facing is to build a socialist modernization with Chinese characteristics. Such a grand and arduous task is one of the greatest creative projects not only in Chinese history but also in the history of the world as a whole. To realize this historic task, we will meet with some major issues that have never been met before by history. For example, how to establish a vibrant and viable socialist economic system with Chinese characteristics? How to carry out political restructuring and establish a highly-developed society Democratic democracy? How to build a socialist spiritual civilization while building a socialist material civilization?
