改良 Jaff’e 反应的速率法测定血清肌酐,虽不及高效液相色谱法及酶法精确、特异,但它符合现实的需要。具有简单、快速、更适合自动化分析。由于升温(>30℃)和延长反应时间(>5min)都会增加干扰,因此,把反应时间定为60S,反应温度为25℃,延迟时间40S,可减少快反应物(乙酰乙酸)的干扰,在测量时间后期(20S)也减少了来自慢反应物(蛋白等)的干扰。但具有肌酐反应速度的非肌酐(丙酮酸、草酰乙酸)反应物的干扰仍无法纠正。
