中国国家自然科学基金委员会是国务院的直属机构,于1986年2月成立。中国国家自然科学基金委员会的成立是中国科技体制改革的一项重要措施。其宗旨是加强国家对基础研究和部分应用研究的支持和资助,以促进中国科技事业的繁荣、经济振兴和社会发展。
The National Natural Science Foundation of China is an institution directly under the State Council and was established in February 1986. The establishment of China's National Natural Science Foundation of China is an important measure for the reform of China's science and technology system. Its purpose is to strengthen state support and funding for basic research and some applied research in order to promote the prosperity of China's science and technology, economic rejuvenation and social development.
