中国实施的西部大开发战略立足于消除贫困、推动发展和实现各民族共同富裕的基本目标,是中国在解决民族问题方面维护生存权、实现发展权的重大战略措施。在西部大开发进程中,保护少数民族地区的生态资源和文化资源是少数民族权利保障的重要内容。中国立足于维护和实现各民族人民根本利益,为各民族人民充分享有人权创造坚实物质基础。同时,世界各国只有相互理解、相互学习才能丰富人类共同的人权理念。
The western development strategy implemented by China is based on the basic objective of eliminating poverty, promoting development and realizing common prosperity of all ethnic groups and is a major strategic measure for China to safeguard its right to life and realize the right to development in solving ethnic issues. In the course of developing the western region, protecting the ecological resources and cultural resources of ethnic minority areas is an important part of the protection of the rights of ethnic minorities. Based on the fundamental interest of safeguarding and realizing the people of all ethnic groups, China has created a solid material foundation for the full enjoyment of human rights by all ethnic groups. At the same time, all countries in the world can enrich humanity's common human rights concept only by mutual understanding and mutual learning.
