职业教育是以应用性与实践性为主的目的教学,“应用型”人才是职业教育的出发点和归宿。因此,高职英语教学的的目的性在于重视英语运用能力的培养。本文首先分析了当前高职英语教学的现状,探讨了基于高职教育特点的英语教学的方向与定位,讨论如何结合职业教育的特点,突出英语教学的实践性。
Vocational education is based on the application and practice of the main purpose of teaching, “applied ” talent is the starting point and end-result of vocational education. Therefore, the purpose of higher vocational English teaching lies in the emphasis on the cultivation of English ability to use. This article first analyzes the present situation of English teaching in higher vocational colleges, probes into the orientation and orientation of English teaching based on the characteristics of higher vocational education, and discusses how to combine the characteristics of vocational education and highlight the practicality of English teaching.
