小乡村里却出了一个发明家,这不仅在省内引起了轰动,而且在各种形式的新产品、新技术博览会上也是独领风骚。他就是“软体电视机接收天线”创研人郭显桂。郭显桂出生于1943年,早年毕业于新乡铁一中,北京3930部队教导团学员,在中央军委空军最高指挥所任无线电报务员,转业后任郑州铁路局新乡电务段忠义二站(载波、微波、四路特高频、各种供电设备)负责人,退休后回到了老家河南省获嘉县亢村镇郭堤村,并且就在这里发明了一个又一个精巧的专利产品。
