盐亭膨润土有含砂质膨润土及膨润土两种,储量大。本文分别叙述了它们的产出地质概况、物化性能以及在建材、活水净化等方面应用的实验研究成果,对综合利用这资源具有实际意义。膨润土是四川绵阳地区的优势资源之一,集中分布在盐亭弥江及三台等县,藏量比较分富,详细分析研究其主要物、化性能,实验开拓、扩大其应用领域对综合开发利用本区优势资源具有重要意义。
