The International Symposium on Sand Mining Technology, organized by the British Mining and Metallurgy Association (IMM), will be held in London, United Kingdom from November 11 to 13, 1991. Conference essay and discussion: 1. Geological exploration: exploration planning and design, remote sensing technology, exploration methods, sampling, delimitation and ore body mapping. 2. Reserves delineation and mine development planning: demarcation of development zones, evaluation of mining minerals, calculation of ore reserves and pilot mining.
