中国科学技术协会于1986年4月提出《中国科学技术协会为实现“七五”计划贡献智力的倡议书》,经中国植物学会第九届理事会第二次会议充分讨论一致决定中国植物学会热烈响应中国科学技术协会的倡议书。理事会一致认为中国植物学会在“七五”期间要按照国家制定的科学技术发展战略,坚定不移地全面贯彻执行经济建设必须依靠科技进步,科技工作必须面向经济建设的方针,动员和组织全国植物学工作者,发挥聪明才智,在实现“七五”计划的壮丽事业中,大显身手,再展宏图;是我们学会和广大会员的光荣使命,为此本次理事会决定:(1)中国植物学会积极配合中国科协组织的每年一次的多学科综
