日本三菱电机公司推出的IR-M500/M300热成象器敏感波长为3～5μm,即使在完全没有照明的场合也能获得与可见摄象机同等的高象质图象,可用于夜间监视。这种成象器既可设置在室外,也可安装在飞机或船舶上。
