走进遂溪县港门镇吴家村时,一幅社会主义新农村的绚丽画卷展现在面前:村前村后绿树成荫,田园瓜果飘香,绿意盎然,气势宏伟的四层高的村委办公楼耸立在村边,一片片绿浪翻滚的甘蔗林,一片片披红挂绿的荔枝园,一幢幢两至三层的小洋楼银窗蓝玻,错落有致地点缀在绿树掩映间。通往各村民小组的水泥路像一条银色的丝带环抱全村,占地面积4万平方米的农民生态公园已具趋形,三五成群的小朋友在村办的幼儿园前嬉戏追逐,一切显得那么详和、舒适、优美。这就是湛江市第十二届人大代表、吴家村党支部书记、村委会主任麦康保多年来带领村两委班子建设吴家村取得的丰硕成果。
