1 Preface In the recent two decades, the pulverization of iron oxide agglomerates under low temperature and weak reducing atmosphere has been discovered by people and has been taken as the subject of many researches. It is now generally accepted that the low temperature reduction strength of pellets and sinters is influenced by the variation of the crystal system when the hexagonal hematite is transformed into a cubic magnetite. This change will cause the volume increase and reduction rate
