This article describes systems and circuits for transmit / receive integrated circuits that meet the requirements of industrial fiber data lines. The integrated circuit is: TTL-compatible circuit; operates as arbitrary data from DC to the highest NRZ data rate of 15 Mbit / s when the receiver detector's minimum current is 125 nA; has an electrical dynamic range of greater than 55 dB and a Automatic line monitor; Single + 5V power supply with temperature and voltage compensation.
