在国际空间站(ISS)的应用范围中,ESA的各有效载荷将配置在Columbus轨道舱(COF)内或美国实验舱内,或安装在ISS桁架上。这些有效载荷涉及多种学科和技术领域,但所有有效载荷都有一项共同的需求:需要一台计算机。计算机的两个主要任务是:有效载荷特定功能的内部控制与监测及同COF或ISS数据管理系统的通信。
Within the scope of ISS applications, each payload of the ESA will be deployed within a Columbus Orbiter (COF) or in a US experimental module or on an ISS truss. These payloads span a variety of disciplines and technical areas, but all payloads share a common need: a computer is needed. The computer’s two main tasks are: internal control and monitoring of payload-specific functions and communication with COF or ISS data management systems.
