Primary epiploic appendagitis (PEA) is a rare condition that may be due to drooposis or venous thrombosis of the fat, and its symptoms are nonspecific and difficult to diagnose preoperatively. The researchers analyzed the 1995-1997 Boston Massachusetts General Hospital Department of Radiology, 348 cases of suspected diverticulitis and
