期刊是知识的航船,信息的江河;比书籍出版周期短而快,比报纸信息多而详。期刊在国民经济建设和科技文化传播方面发挥着重要作用。 我国期刊,自1833年广州创办的《东西洋考每月统计传》算起,迄今已有160多年的历史了。其间经历了曲折发展的道路。笔者仅就新中国建国后40年我国出版事业发展的轨迹、改革开放头10年我国出版发展的研究,以及对我国期刊出版事业的思考等问题,进行了比较深入系统全面的研究,为期刊领导部门和期刊工作者提供参考依据。
Periodicals are the ships of knowledge, the rivers of information; they are shorter and faster than the books, and more informative and detailed than the newspapers. Periodicals play an important role in national economic construction and in the dissemination of science and technology and culture. China’s periodicals, counting from the “Monthly Statistical Biography of Eastern Western Studies” founded by Guangzhou in 1833, have been more than 160 years old. In the meantime experienced a tortuous path of development. The author conducted a systematic and comprehensive study on issues such as the track of the development of publishing industry in our country for the past 40 years since the founding of New China, the development of our publishing industry in the first decade of reform and opening up, and the consideration of the publishing of journals in China.
